Binkley Ct Project
Project Objective
The backyard has been deteriorating for the 20+ years the customer has lived here, it’s time for a refresh so they can get back to enjoying the pool and taking pride in their property.
Rock Solid Retreat
This complete backyard project in Millgrove, ON was an absolute blast for our team to complete. The design and materials feature a lot of OuterSpaces staples on a grand scale such as a 75’ tiered armour stone retaining wall, 300+sf natural stone sheet flagstone patio and stepping stones, Banas natural stone pool coping, over 1500sf of interlocking pavers, and a really special custom natural stone waterfall.
Working around pools always presents challenges for dealing with drainage and in this case we integrated a 40’ track drain in the middle of the pool deck to divert surface water away from the house and prevent pooling in the patio areas.
We raised the pool height by adding a natural stone coping on top of the existing concrete pool deck and overlaying the pool deck partially with the new interlocking pavers––this solution allowed us to avoid removing the concrete around the pool deck which allowed us to maximize budgets and timeline.
If you are headed North on Hwy 6 through Millgrove be sure to look West and catch a glimpse of the beautiful custom waterfall!

“Right from day one of the introductory meeting thru to the completion of the project Nick and the crew were very prompt, professional, and showed great pride and expertise in all phases of our project. The suggestions that Nick provided were exactly what we were looking for and, while the job was complex, it was finished well before our expected time line. Truly a magnificent job and a backyard paradise that my wife and I will admire for many years to come.”
